Senior Transformation Manager

FTSE Russell has established a n ew platform strategy organisation focused on developing target state Index capabilities to transform the core Index Platforms and scale growth for FTSE Russell

The Senior Manager for Platform Strategy Transformation will report to the Transformation Director and will be a stakeholder in the development of the future state FTSE Russell Index Platform . You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and seamless execution of delivery in the Platform Strategy Organisation . This organisation is new and FTSE Russell is undergoing a transformation across Business, Technology and Operations, part of your responsibility will be to ensure the right activity is happening in the right function with interaction models clearly identified and gaps in ownership highlighted and resolved effectively. T his multifaceted role requires a blend of leadership, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to process improvement.

This role will require the candidate to successfully interact with wide stakeholder group . Critical to the role is a strong agile and collaborative mindset, working well across many diverse groups and balancing outcomes that help drive capability excellence but also FTSE Russell goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Optimising product development processes to improve efficiency and consistency in the Platform Strategy Organisation
  • Working with Technology to define the right touchpoints and assisting them with the changes required to support the build of the future state index platforms
  • Developing standardised templates for the Platform Strategy Organisation to use across the product lifecycle including in product planning, road mapping, and reporting.
  • Provid ing management information and insights to FTSE Russell Leadership team
  • Foster ing team health by coaching and mentoring product managers to enhance their skills and knowledge through onboarding, training, and continuous learning.
  • Address ing and resolve people and cultur al issues
  • Driv ing continuous improvement in the Platform Strategy Organisation and ensure alignment with other change initiatives in FTSE Russell
  • Support ing e stablish ment of a structured approach for product roadmap creation, maintenance, and communication.
  • Encourag ing collaboration between product managers, design, engineering, data science, and other teams to ensure alignment with the product vision.

Profile/Skills

  • Extensive experience in product ownership / technology / transformation
  • Experience in dealing with end clients
  • Management experience with Product Owners, including training and career development
  • Experience with Agile delivery and transformation
