Customer Service Apprentice

Our client Wessex Fire & Security is looking for a Customer Service Apprentice to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-known business whilst studying for a recognised level 2 qualification. The role will be based at their Head Office in Shaftesbury, Dorset and you will have the opportunity throughout your Apprenticeship to spend time in several parts of the business.

Working week:

37.5 hours per week

Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5pm each day

1 hour for lunch

Expected duration of apprenticeship:

Minimum 1 year

Apprenticeship:

Customer Service Level 2 Apprenticeship

Main Duties & responsibilities:

  • Provide administration support to the team as required
  • To assist in covering for other duties as and when required in other areas of the business
  • To carry out such duties of a similar level of responsibility as may from time to time be reasonably required.
  • To answer the department telephones and take messages when necessary for other members of staff.
  • Customer service support

Essential competencies:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Grades 4/C in English and Math's at GCSE
  • Confident with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • High level of accuracy
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Customer Focused.
  • To be able to work well in a team.

Desirable:

  • Excellent ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively to meet targets and deadlines.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Can work well under pressure.
