Your new role
The HR Advisor plays a critical role in ensuring the provision of customer-focussed, high quality, generalist HR support to all staff, line managers and the Senior Leadership Team, covering the full employee lifecycle. You will support employee relations across the organisation and ensure the smooth delivery of day-to-day HR activities and processes.
Overview of duties;

HR Advice/employee relations

  • Provide advice and guidance to line managers and employees on employee relations issues, including absence management, disciplinaries, grievances, capability issues.

Recruitment

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, providing high quality, efficient and customer-focused advice to recruiting managers and ensuring great candidate experience
  • Manage pre-employment checks and support safer recruitment best practice.

Administration

  • Supervise, administer and coordinate the HR functions

HR Systems & Reporting

  • Be the go-to person for enquiries on our HR database, improving systems as appropriate

Payroll Operations & Compliance

  • Support the monthly payroll processes, ensuring all contractual changes are authorised and processed by payroll

Learning & Development

  • Develop and run training sessions around HR processes for Line Managers

What you'll need to succeed

HR qualification (CIPD), Level 5 (or working towards Level 5) preferred or equivalent experience
