Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum

Company Overview:

Our client, based in Wokingham, is looking for a motivated Sales & Business Development Executive to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual with proven sales experience to begin their career in Export Sales Development, with comprehensive training provided.

As a Sales & Business Development Executive, you will be an integral part of the export sales team, contributing to the company's growth by identifying and exploring new market opportunities. You will receive training in export sales development, which will allow you to engage in international sales activities, support strategic initiatives, and build strong relationships with clients across various export markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new opportunities to expand export sales.
  • Collaborate with the Export team to support and refine export sales strategies.
  • Engage in international sales visits, calls, and trade exhibitions to promote products.
  • Provide initial technical support to customers and partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including end-users, specifiers, distributors, and OEMs.
  • Assist in coordinating sales promotions and ensuring clear communication of marketing materials.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential export markets and present findings.
  • Liaise with Sales and Technical teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Respond promptly to requests from senior management and clients.
  • Travel internationally to customer sites and trade exhibitions as required.

Key Requirements:

  • A sales-oriented mindset with a keen interest in expanding into export markets.
  • Strong communication and listening skills, both written and oral.
  • A positive attitude, attention to detail, and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Experience in sales, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in desktop market research.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams).
