Job Title: Accountant
Salary: Circa £45,000
Location: St Albans / Hybrid
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm (with 1 hour lunch break)
Our client are an independent accounting firm who support a variety of different businesses. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a supportive and professional team.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Proven experience working within an Accountancy Practice - minimum 3 years
- Excellent communication skills
- Manage workload and work towards deadlines
- Competent with Xero, Quickbooks & Sages
- Ideally ACA or ACCA part or fully qualified (open to QBE)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a portfolio of clients, building relationships and understanding their needs.
- Bookkeeping
- Management accounts
- VAT Returns, Corporation Tax Returns & Personal Tax Returns.
- Statutory Accounts
- Support and train junior members of the team.
