A designer and manufacturer of safety-critical components sold to Aerospace and Ministry of Defence engineering businesses, is now seeking a Project Manager to join their team. Supplying OEMs and First Tier Suppliers globally, this business is experiencing an extended period of growth.
Reporting to the Programmes Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the execution and completion of defined projects ensuring company strategy is met and commitments and company targets are achieved
Responsibilities of a Project Manager:
- Ensuring that the life cycle of support bids for new business is completed successfully aligning with company strategy
- Project reporting: To internal stakeholders and externally to customers
- Improving value and margin of projects with a proactive approach to project management
- Liaising with customers in regular catch ups to fully understand project requirements
- Develop effective and long lasting customer relationships
The successful candidate will be an experienced Project Manager, with knowledge of planning & delivering projects involving small to medium batch manufacturing
