They are looking for a skilled Residential Conveyancer to contribute to our firm's growth and success by overseeing property transactions and delivering exceptional legal services. This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced Conveyancer, Solicitor, or Chartered Legal Executive specialising in residential property. You will play a pivotal role in managing property transactions and driving our firm's prosperity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a diverse caseload of residential property matters, including sales, purchases, transfers of equity, and lease extensions.
- Offer expert legal guidance to clients on property transactions.
- Conduct thorough legal research and stay informed on updates in property law.
- Draft, review, and finalise legal documents, contracts, and agreements for residential property transactions.
- Communicate with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties to ensure smooth transactions.
- Negotiate terms and resolve legal issues that arise during the conveyancing process.
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards.
- Maintain effective and timely communication both internally and externally.
- Engage in continuing professional development to stay current in the field of law.
- Uphold the firm's standards, procedures, and core values by delivering work of the highest quality.
- Participate in marketing and business development events and activities.
- Supervise and delegate tasks appropriately to support staff.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with extensive experience managing caseloads.
- Strong understanding of conveyancing processes, property law, and relevant legislation.
- Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in supervision and effective delegation.
- Proven ability to efficiently manage a high-volume caseload.
- Proficient in IT, including case management systems and legal research tools.
- Prior experience with case management systems is advantageous; however, training will be provided.
- In-depth knowledge of conveyancing processes and experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience managing a caseload from exchange of contracts to completion.#
