Learning and Development Advisor

Following the new appointment of a passionate and committed

CPO

within an expanding Education Trust (made up of Primary and Secondary schools), we are supporting them in building out their

HR

team with like-minded, hard working

HR

professionals who care deeply about supporting the teams that deliver the best services possible to the children within their schools. We are looking to recruit an experienced

Learning and Development Advisor

  • Reporting in to the

Learning & Organisational Development Business Partner

, you will support them in building and delivering

career development pathways

for all none teaching staff.

The successful individual will be passionate about designing, delivering, and evaluating impactful

learning and organisational development

interventions. There really is an opportunity to be creative and in this role you will play a key role in shaping the learning culture and supporting the growth of your colleagues at the Trust?

What you will be doing:

This is a fabulous time to join the trust because you'll get to contribute to the creation of the

people strategy

and be part of shaping and designing future services, helping to ensure that every employee experiences the sort of magic that they endeavour to create for all of the children, students and learners that they serve.

In this role you'll be honing your data analysis, facilitation and coaching skills to truly understand what is needed to enable colleagues to do their best work and to align the appropriate interventions.

Your primary focus will be on supporting

career development pathways

aligning the relevant learning and development opportunities including professional qualifications. As part of this you'll be supporting with the management and delivery of the apprentices/

apprenticeships

provision.

They want colleagues to feel a sense of belonging with the trust from the moment they accept a role and especially in their first few months. With that you will be ensuring that the Welcome Induction is set up and delivered to support this.

You will be supported to gain an understanding of the structure and roles that people perform so that you can help them to learn, grow and contribute to the success of the Trust.

What we are looking for:

To succeed in this role and take the

Learning

provision to the next level, we are looking for experience in a similar role - if you have done this within education great, but please don't let that put you off in applying if you haven't.

We are looking for that passion and energy you have when you truly love and believe in what you do.

Experience of managing and utilising the

apprenticeship levy

would be hugely desirable.

Being able to run skills and training gap analysis and report back.

Experience of planning and delivering

learning and development

sessions in both face to face an virtual events.

And if you also had your CIPD Level 5 that would be the cherry on the top.

There will be a Trust-wide remit in this role so travel to the academies and schools across Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, Derby and Derbyshire will be required - so

driving

would be favoured.
