We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Business Tutor to join our high-achieving Business department at a FE establishment. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering outstanding educational outcomes and have a passion for teaching beyond the specification. Business Teacher

  • Salary: £30,000 - £46,800 FTE (subject to experience)
  • Location: Hampshire
  • Job Type: Full-time (part-time job share considered)
  • Start Date: End of August
  • Type: Permanent

Day-to-Day of the Role of a Business Teacher:

  • Deliver 22.5 hours per week of contact with students, split over 5 teaching groups, with additional periods for preparation and marking.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, staff CPD, and whole college events such as open evenings, parent evenings, interview days, and enrolment.
  • Engage in collaborative planning and resource sharing within the department.
  • Contribute to extracurricular student clubs, wellbeing, and social activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications of the Business Teacher:

  • Recognised teaching qualifications
  • Degree in subject area or simular
  • Ability to deliver inspiring lessons and bring knowledge and experience to the curriculum.
  • Commitment to professional development and teamwork.
  • Passion for improvement and belief in the success of every student.
