You will work for a government organisation in Central London, as an HR Advisor, on an FTC basis until end of March 2025. The role will start ASAP, so please only apply if you are immediately available, or can start within 1-2 week's notice. Key details of the position are as follows:

  • 6 month FTC (until end of March 2025)
  • £41,000 - £46,000 per annum
  • Hybrid working 3 days per week in the office, including Wednesday's

Your new role

This contract role will provide essential ER support to your business directorate, as well as supporting on ad hoc HR project. Reporting to a Senior HR Business Partner, within a team of 5, you will support a client group of 400-500 employees, with all HR queries such as;

  • End to end caseload management of 6-7 complex ER cases at one time, from investigation to escalation, across disciplinaries, capability, performance, sickness, grievance etc
  • Escalating cases to the HR Business Partner
  • Advising on all HR queries such as pay, annual leave, flexible working requests
  • Coaching and upskilling managers
  • Advising and processing of settlement agreements

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role you will have worked as an HR Advisor within the public sector, with extensive complex ER experience. You must be able to start within 1-2 weeks of offer.
