Your new role
The Claims and Systems Coordinator, who reports directly to the Group's Head of HSE, will operate across the organisation, overseeing tasks that involve various departments and business entities. The responsibilities of this position include managing data for insurance claims and investigations related to incidents, executing projects, advancing ongoing enhancement efforts, analysing data, and producing reports to support well-informed choices throughout the company. Moreover, this individual will contribute to the management and resolution of HSE shared service requests, guaranteeing prompt and proficient service provision.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Handling and compiling sensitive information.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation.
  • Analyse and interpret technical datasets and trends.
  • Build relationships with insurers, internal and external stakeholders to promote compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support within the team for projects.
  • Provide HSE and Insurance related advice and support to internal departments to ensure compliance and safety.
  • Assisting in the onboarding of suppliers, raising purchase orders, tracking expenditure and ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Organise and deliver HSE and claims related training and coaching sessions for employees.

This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. Flexibility is offered, and hybrid working arrangements are in place, allowing for a maximum of 3 days of remote work and 2 office-based days per week.
What you'll need to succeed

  • Exhibit meticulous attention to detail, ensuring precision and systematic approaches.
  • Knowledge and proven experience working in a Health & Safety/Insurance Claims role.
  • Foundational qualifications like IOSH or its equivalent are beneficial but not essential.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in analysing and deciphering technical data.
  • Have strong written and oral communication abilities to articulate HSE-related information effectively.
  • Be adaptable, with a readiness to acquire new skills and adjust to evolving HSE standards and laws.
  • Be skilled at using MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerBi.
