Tradewind Recruitment is working with a Primary School based in Shrewsbury. The school is a vibrant and busy school with a close knit team. They are looking to recruit a 1:1 Level 3 Teaching Assistant. The role will be full time and will continue for the duration of the academic year, with the potential to be extended for the right candidate.
The role is full time, Monday to Friday, 8.30am-3.00pm.
The successful candidate will work under the guidance of teaching staff and HLTA's to support academic attainment of the child you will be working with. The child you will be supporting is in Upper KS2 and has an Educational Health Care Plan.
Requirements:
- Hold a Level 3 qualification as a Teaching Assistant (or equivalent).
- Experience working with children with SEND is desirable.
- Hold a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
- Have a minimum of 2 references.
- Have legal right to work in the UK.
