New Product Design Technician

Newcastle-under-Lyme

Up to £30 DOE

Fulltime; Monday - Friday

We are recruiting for a dynamic and innovative company committed to delivering top-quality products and solutions, and we are currently seeking a talented and motivated New Product Design Technician to join their team.

Role:

As the New Product Design Technician, you will engage in challenging projects that make a real impact and be a part of a collaborative and supportive work environment.

You will manage the product development process from concept through to product launch, and also implement improvements to existing product designs. Whilst providing comprehensive technical support across all business areas and with clients or external parties, you will also assist with training and presenting new products.

In addition to the above, as the New Product Design Technician, you will also be expected to:

  • Optimise product designs for cost savings.
  • Develop design solutions tailored to individual customer requirements.
  • Build and test prototypes for performance analysis.
  • Engage directly with materials and processes for manufacturing.
  • Investigate new materials and design techniques to enhance product offerings.
  • Review and address product issues on-site.
  • Maintain all documentation.

Requirements:

To be successfully shortlisted for the New Product Design Technician position, you will present proficiency in Revit and SolidWorks, and have at least 1 years' experience within a similar position.

In addition to the above, you will also have:

  • Experience with AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modelling).
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Hands-on approach with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
  • Positive attitude and ability to tackle challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels or seniority.
