Job Role: Senior Technical Sales Manager Location or Commutable from: Nottingham

Salary: £45,000 per annum + company car + laptop and mobile phone

The Company:

You will be joining a leading design and manufacture company providing fixtures to the aerospace industry.

The role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for growing and developing the business and developing field sales staff within the technical sales department.

Senior Technical Sales Manager Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and increasing company sales.
  • Establishing, maintaining, and expanding the customer base specifically key accounts.
  • Increasing business opportunities through sales channels to market.
  • Review and identify the current market and former opportunities through effective use of the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) and social media, maintaining existing clients and winning new business.
  • Attending networking, exhibitions, and business social events to secure and grow new and existing clients.
  • Liaise with the design team to ensure projects are within time scales.
  • Present technical solutions that are relevant to your customer needs and to secure long term commitment from customers.

The Candidate:

  • BA bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering or equivalent with experience in tooling as a related field
  • Must be able to evidence their experience in Engineering Design
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience working in Engineering.
  • Ability to read and create technical drawings.
  • Experience managing a sales team.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and overseas.
