  • **Providing an in-depth delivery of the GCSE science curriculum to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • **Completing your induction in an ‘Outstanding' secondary school.

Requirements:

  • At least a bachelor's degree in a science, or a related field.
  • Completed- or completing- a PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Comprehensive knowledge surrounding scientific concepts.
  • Natural ability and confidence to build strong bonds with students aged 11-16.
  • Clear, concise communication style and coherent spoken English.
  • Passion for the education of KS3 and KS4 students and a drive to achieve their maximum potential.

The Role

As a Science ECT, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that adhere to the GCSE national curriculum. You will assess and monitor students' classwork to gain an insight into their progress and attainment levels and will use this understanding to identify any additional learning needs. Learning materials will be adapted to accommodate the individual support requirements of each student and constructive feedback will be provided to encourage growth and development of all pupils.
