Primary Supply Teacher

There is a high demand for flexible supply teachers in Exeter based Primary schools. The opportunity can be flexible to your availability as we work around any other commitments you may have. Whether you are an experienced Teacher looking to continue your teaching career or an ECT starting out, this opportunity can match you.

The schools need someone who is adaptable and flexible with their teaching methods as you will be working with different ages so you need to be able to prove that you can work around this. However, a specialism in EYFS, KS1 or KS2 is still beneficial. You must also be a positive and vibrant person as the school has a real positive energy about it so the right person will be able to match this. Due to the nature of the role, all relevant Teaching Qualifications are essential.

What will you do on a daily basis?

  • Lead the lessons
  • Marking and assessing when required
  • Show excellent curriculum knowledge
  • Manage behaviour effectively
  • Promote and nurture independence
  • Build positive working relationships with children and adults alike
  • Proactive and willingness to be involved with the general running of the school day
