About Us: Join My clients dynamic team in the thriving Food manufacturing sector! Our client is currently looking for a skilled Electrical Bias Engineer to joing their team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic systems to ensure their optimal functioning.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and breakdowns promptly, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Conduct inspections and tests on machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and prevent failures.
- Carry out repairs and replacements of faulty components or parts using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Calibrate and adjust equipment to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
- Install new equipment and machinery as needed, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to safety standards.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment histories.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to safety regulations and procedures at all times, promoting a culture of safety within the organisation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a multi-skilled engineer or similar role, with expertise in both mechanical and electrical systems preferred.
- Previous experience working within a Manufacturing and Production environment
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, with a systematic approach to troubleshooting
- Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools for maintenance and repair tasks.
- Knowledge of PLCs, control systems, and other relevant technologies is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Flexibility to work outside regular hours and respond to emergencies as needed.
