SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity - Primary-aged pupils
Are you an organised SEN Teaching Assistant seeking your next opportunity? Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team!
This full-time position is available for an immediate start, and although it begins as a temporary long-term role, it could become permanent for the right candidate.
We work with a variety of SEN schools across the Kent area, so no matter where you are based, we encourage you to apply!
The Role Involves:
- Industry: Education
- Supporting students with Special Educational Needs such as ASD, SEMH, and behavioural challenges
- Providing 1:1 and small group support
- Assisting class teachers with preparing and delivering activities and lessons
- Helping to create a positive learning environment and assisting with equipment and classroom tasks
- Supervising students during school trips
- Rephrasing instructions, providing repetition, and offering guidance for students to help them engage fully with their learning
