Role: Lead Python Software Developer / Teach Lead
Location: Bank - London / Hybrid
Salary: Up to £200k + bonus
Our client is looking for a Lead software engineer to join them at a Crypto Hedge Fund - they have offices in Zurich, but looking for a team to build out a new London office.
You will work closely with the Head of Trading and Director, working in a brand new team working mainly with Python, C# and C++. Your work will involve building out a brand new HFT crypto platform, improving exchange trading connectivity, latency optimisation and collaborating with the engineering team on machine learning based projects. Hands on managing as well as wokring at a trading platform and working on features and applications from scratch preferably in a small team or start up/scale up environment.
Nice to have for this role:
- 6+ years of experience working at a trading platform / hedge fund
- Have previous experience working with Digital Assets / Crypto
- Proficient in Python, C# and/or C++
- Previously experience having worked on a trading platform (any assets)
- Leadership experience managing a team
