Job title - Management Accountant (3 to 4 Month Interim Position)
Job type: Interim/Temporary
Day Rate: £190 to £230 a day dependent on experience & qualifications
Location: City of London - Hybrid (1/2 days a week office-based)
The Company - EslingKenny is currently working with a Media company who are seeking an interim Management Accountant to assist the finance team due to growth. This role is key to delivering month-end and reporting requirements to certain internal stakeholders within the Group.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the production of month-end profit and loss reports and balance sheet
- To assist in the production of the monthly board packs
- Prepare weekly, bi-weekly and monthly reports - highlighting, investigating and reporting on variances
- Revenue recognition and cost reviews
- To produce and review project cost reconciliations
- To assist with the preparation of the annual budgeting process
- Preparing VAT returns
- Assist with the annual audit
- Preparing tax reconciliations for appropriate accounts
Candidate profile:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification is a preference but not essential
- Strong Excel and IT skills are essential
- At least 4+ years experience working within in a finance function
- Be able to hit the ground running with minimal assistance
- Team player, willing to learn and get involved with a wide range of tasks
- Ability to work on own initiative and generate solutions
