The Role:
On offer is the opportunity to join their Engineering team and provide technical services for large-scale solar PV and battery energy storage projects. The Senior Electrical Engineer's responsibilities would include feasibility assessments, design specifications, tender reviews, construction quality monitoring, and operational support. The role involves preparing and reviewing technical and non-technical documentation, coordinating reports, supporting proposals, and managing supplier offers.
A key focus will be overseeing electrical elements of projects, such as cable sizing, electrical diagrams, and protection systems, requiring strong solar PV and electrical engineering expertise up to 33kV.

Have you got and could be the Senior Electrical Engineer for the job?
- Electrical engineering knowledge with experience in LV, MV, and HV systems, cable calculations, and transmission line equipment
- Awareness of British and International standards for solar PV design, operations, and communications
- Proficient in technical drawings and hybrid generation systems (solar PV, BESS, thermal)
- Experience in construction and quality supervision for utility-scale PV plants and BESS, including testing, commissioning, and systems energization
- Hold a bachelor's degree in a STEM subject (or equivalent training and experience).
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel
