The Opportunity:
Yolk Recruitment Public Sector and Not-for-Profit is proud to be working with a Public Sector Organisation to appoint a Business Development Executive for a 12 month fixed-term contract, with the potential to be made permanent.
Responsibilities:
- Generating new business leads of all sizes, but predominant focus is small to medium companies spread out across the south of the UK.
- Meet monthly, annual & strategic targets on supplier performance measured in volume bought and profitability.
- Work with multiple small accounts and negotiate on various input streams in a competitive market.
- You will have a willingness and the ability to travel across your designated patch (north of Birmingham), with up to 50% being visiting potential customers.
Experience Required:
- Proven track record of prospecting, cold calling and converting prospects to leads.
- Experience of selling to multiple customers and managing accounts.
