Description
The In-House Lawyer will:
- Identify and manage legal risks early, ensuring legally sound decisions across the organisation.
- Guide compliance by advising on internal policies and providing solutions-focused support.
- Conduct complex casework with oversight from senior legal team members.
- Engage cross-functionally to support objectives, training, and project participation.
- Make key triage decisions in operational assessments after specialised training.
Profile
The In-House Lawyer should have:
- A proven track record within a similar role as a Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in managing caseloads and delivering precise, legally grounded advice.
- Expertise in at least one area: data protection, commercial contracts, or employment law, ideally within the public sector.
- Clear, concise written communication tailored to varied audiences.
