Marketing Manager

As the Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in developing and executing the company's marketing strategies to enhance our brand presence, drive customer engagement, and support sales growth.

You will be responsible for overseeing all marketing activities, from strategic planning to tactical execution, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives.

Working closely with various departments, you will manage digital marketing, content creation, social media, and event coordination to effectively promote our services and projects.

Main Duties

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the company's goals.
  • Identify target sectors and clients to tailor marketing efforts effectively.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to make informed strategic decisions.
  • Oversee the management of the company's website, ensuring it is up-to-date and optimised for SEO.
  • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, PPC, and social media.
  • Analyse digital marketing performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Manage the creation of high-quality content for various channels, including blogs, case studies, newsletters, and social media.
  • Ensure consistency in brand voice and messaging across all content.
  • Manage project portfolio, to ensure effective use of video and imagery to showcase our Small Works and Major Projects capabilities.
  • Managing the brand, ensuring brand guidelines are followed from office to project, achieving brand consistency across all platforms.
  • Develop the corporate brand identity in consultation with senior managers, executives, and the communications team.
  • Develop and manage the company's social media strategy, including content planning and community engagement.
  • Track and report on social media performance metrics to measure success and ROI.
  • Plan and coordinate company events, trade shows, and exhibitions to promote our services and projects.
  • Manage event logistics, marketing materials, and post-event follow-up.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and marketing service providers.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of marketing materials and services.
  • Provide regular reports on marketing activities, performance metrics, and key insights
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate marketing needs, timelines, and potential challenges.
  • Monitor and manage marketing budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
  • Implement cost-effective marketing practices and contribute to overall cost-control measures.
  • Identify areas for process improvement within the marketing function and implement enhancements.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Proven experience in marketing management, preferably in the construction or related industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in digital marketing, content creation, event co-ordination and social media management.
  • Experience in managing marketing budgets and external vendors.
  • Degree educated or relevant work experience

Salary and Benefits

  • Up to £55K per annum
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (increases by 1 day every 2 years)
