Anaesthetic Nurse/ODP

We have exciting opportunities for anaesthetic practitioners to join the anaesthetic theatre team in one of the trusts in London, which has a major centre for the South West London and Surrey Trauma Network-over 2000 helipad landings by five air ambulances in the last 7 years.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • We are offering exciting opportunities to work within our innovative and dynamic theatre departments within one of London's largest hospitals.
  • As a valued member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work across a broad range of elective specialities, including: General surgery, Bariatrics, Plastics, Gynaecology, Urology, Renal, Transplant, Vascular, ENT, Maxillofacial, Major Trauma, Trauma and Orthopaedics, Obstetrics, Paediatrics and Neonatal surgery. You will be joining our large dynamic team working across St James' Theatres, Paul Calvert Theatres and Lanesborough Theatres.
  • Our commitment to excellence extends to our 24/7 emergency services, ensuring you will always be at the forefront in fast-paced critical environments serving the needs of patients.
  • You will also participate in on-call commitments to support our resident night emergency theatre teams covering acute emergencies, Major trauma, and Obstetrics.
  • The post holder will also be expected to offer support and supervision to junior staff and students.
  • Our dedicated education team will provide more training to help further your career development and support any challenges you face.

Requirements:

  • You will need to be an ODP (Operating Department Practitioner) or RN1 (with recognised anaesthetic qualifications).
  • Have excellent communication skills.
