Job Title: Site Assistant

Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Hourly Rate: £12.50 - £15.00 (dependent on experience)
Our client, a leading organisation in the construction industry, is currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join their team as a Site Assistant. As a Site Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of testing sampled materials and accurately recording the data.

Due to the working environment and location of this role candidate's must possess a CSCS card, a driving license and have access to their own transport.
Responsibilities:
- Safely manoeuvre samples of soil, concrete, and other materials weighing up to 20kg to the lab for further testing.
- Test high volume of sampled materials and accurately record the data.
- Maintain good numeracy and written skills to ensure precise documentation.
- Perform manual handling and heavy lifting tasks comfortably.
- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment in the lab and ensure the site is free from contamination.
Requirements:
- A valid CSCS card is essential for this role.
- Good numeracy and written skills are required to accurately record data and communicate findings.
- Analytical skills will be valuable when performing tests and interpreting results.
- Comfortable with manual handling and lifting heavy objects.
- Must be able to work on a construction site and adhere to safety protocols.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the lab and other working areas.
- Must have safety shoes; other necessary PPE will be provided.
- A valid driving licence and access to your own transport are required.
