About the Role:
This role will see you working as a Quantity Surveyor, part of a local team assisting the Commercial Manager and Regional Manager with commercial control & reporting on high standard Commercial activities to Housing properties, delivering best in class commercial acumen, customer service and satisfying all safety, quality, and cost control standards.
- Build Up and Generate Specifications & Scope of works based on NHF Schedule of Rates.
- Management of Commercial WIP & Cost Liabilities
- Collate, submit, and agree applications/payment with the client including aged debt Management
- Generate cost & Value reporting information
- Subcontractor Management, Including agreeing/Negotiating Rates, Procurement, payment, and systems management.
- Attend contractual meetings with Stakeholders & produce any specific commercial information required for these meetings.
- Support identification, Preparation, and pricing of new works opportunities/Tenders.
Role Criteria:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a commercial capacity, Working in the Construction Sector as a principle and/or Main contractor across Voids & Repairs Business streams:
- Experience working with typical Pricing agreements & Frameworks, which includes mandatory knowledge of NHF Schedule of Rates.
- Experience Measuring Works, Generating and Agreeing applications.
- Experience Reviewing, Validating and approving subcontractor quotations & variations in line with pricing agreements (NHF)
- Experience managing supply chain Partners.
- Experience in financial reporting and data analysis
- Strong numeracy and financial management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are necessary.
- IT skills including advanced Excel and Word are essential.
