We're looking for a talented and motivated Senior Highways Engineer to join a vibrant and up-and-coming consultancy in London.

Your Role:
As a Senior Highways Engineer, you'll work on major prestigious projects across London and the UK. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Developing and designing highway maintenance and improvement schemes.
- Producing 3D Engineering designs from 2D layouts.
- Handling highway assets and proposing solutions for renewal or improvement.
- Designing civil infrastructure components, including Highway and Drainage design.
- Liaising with statutory authorities and project stakeholders.
- Providing technical support and advice on Highway Engineering projects.
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Leading on projects from conceptual design to site monitoring.
- Supporting the training and development of junior staff.
- Checking and reviewing project output.
The Ideal Candidate:
We're looking for someone who's passionate about highways engineering and has:
- An accredited degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- In-depth knowledge of Highway Design and design standards.
- Experience in feasibility, preliminary design, and traffic/local roads solutions.
- Understanding of Health and Safety, including CDM responsibilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant technical and industry standards.
- Strong project management and financial management skills.
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
