We're looking for a talented and motivated Senior Highways Engineer to join a vibrant and up-and-coming consultancy in London.

Your Role:
As a Senior Highways Engineer, you'll work on major prestigious projects across London and the UK. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Developing and designing highway maintenance and improvement schemes.
  • Producing 3D Engineering designs from 2D layouts.
  • Handling highway assets and proposing solutions for renewal or improvement.
  • Designing civil infrastructure components, including Highway and Drainage design.
  • Liaising with statutory authorities and project stakeholders.
  • Providing technical support and advice on Highway Engineering projects.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Leading on projects from conceptual design to site monitoring.
  • Supporting the training and development of junior staff.
  • Checking and reviewing project output.

The Ideal Candidate:
We're looking for someone who's passionate about highways engineering and has:

  • An accredited degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
  • In-depth knowledge of Highway Design and design standards.
  • Experience in feasibility, preliminary design, and traffic/local roads solutions.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety, including CDM responsibilities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant technical and industry standards.
  • Strong project management and financial management skills.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
