Role Description:

Bridge Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join the Team of one of our clients, a renowned and well-established Company within the Cleaning and Support Services sector. With more than 20 years of experience, they are committed to providing the best service to their customers and are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their Team. As Account Manager you will be responsible for overseeing accounts while looking after approximately 23 sites across Milton Keynes and Northampton. The ideal Accounts Manager will have proven experience in cleaning contract management, and will be flexible to meet the needs of the business. Responsibilities:

  • Liaise closely with the Client to ensure requirements are met and exceeded
  • Recruit, train, develop and support staff
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager, Assistant Operations Manager and Sales department
  • Support the operations and ensure consistent service delivery within their specified portfolio in ensuring clients receive the outstanding customer service they expect
  • This is a varied role responding to the needs of the business working across a portfolio of approximately 23 varied sites, therefore you must be willing to travel and an element of flexibility will be required to suit the needs of the business

Personal Skills and Experience:

  • This role will involve travelling and some late evening/weekend working so flexibility is a must
  • A proven track record in cleaning contract management
  • A proven track record of staff management
  • Excellent customer service, communication and listening skills
  • Strong people management skills
  • Proven planning and organisational skills
  • Lots of initiative and positive attitude
  • Ability to handle objections and think on your feet
  • Results driven with a strong work ethic and proactive approach
  • A good working knowledge of MS Office and Office 365 packages
  • A Team player, able to communicate with colleagues effectively in order to ensure they complete tasks to the best of their ability
  • Have a flexible attitude towards work
  • Be able to prioritise workload and schedule multiple tasks
  • Excellent time management skills, ensuring tasks are completed within the given timeframes
