We are seeking a passionate and dynamic PE teacher to join one of our vibrant school communities in Plymouth. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop their physical fitness, team spirit, and a love for sports. You will be responsible for planning and delivering a range of engaging lessons that promote health and well-being across all abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver a varied PE curriculum to students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Promote physical activity and healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Organise and oversee extracurricular sports clubs and school teams.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall student experience.
  • Assess, track, and report on student progress and development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in physical education or a related subject Experience teaching PE at the secondary level (experience at the primary level is also welcome).
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Relevant experience with children in the UK with 2 professional references.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get a new one)
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
