Quantity Surveyor - Construction Consultancy

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for construction projects
- Conduct site visits and quantity take-offs to ensure accurate cost projections
- Negotiate and manage contracts, subcontracts, and procurement processes
- Monitor project costs and implement cost control measures
- Evaluate and process payment applications, change orders, and claims
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
- Provide value engineering and cost-saving recommendations
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, ideally with consultancy or client-side exposure
- Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., RICS, CIOB) are highly desirable or working towards
