Zenith People are working with our client who are looking to recruit an experienced Quality Assurance Technician/Engineer on a permanent basis.
The main purpose of the role will be to ensure that all internal Quality documentation, processes & procedures are up to date and in line with ISO 9001 Standards. Duties are as follows:-
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Working with the in-house team to support with Internal Audit programs and Quality Management Systems
- Carrying out system audits
- 8D Problem solving
- Dealing with all internal non conformances
- Focussing on the continuous improvement of process & procedures
- Auditing internal processes
- Internal Auditor status preferred, not essential
The Person we are looking for
- Minim 2 years' experience in a quality Technician or Engineer role
- Experience working and supporting to maintain quality management system
- Experience of working to ISO9001 standard.
- ISO 9001 Internal Auditor qualification preferred
- Strong communication skills in all forms
- Strong computer skills i.e. Excel / Power point
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A positive attitude to dealing with people and problems
- A hands-on problem-solving approach, with ability to generate ideas and solutions
- Experience with 8D problem solving.
- Experience dealing with internal and external non-conformances.
- The ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail
- The ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritise tasks
- The ability to work independently and have responsibility as an individual, as well as being able to integrate and operate as part of a team
