A leading, friendly, medium-sized SME and rapidly growing construction company is looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join the team just outside Farnham. Along with a salary of up to £50,000 per annum (depending on experience), plus a bonus.
They are looking for an "ideas person", someone who can reduce paperwork and make the business fully automated! You must have accounting experience within the construction industry.
As Management Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
- Running all ledgers and producing monthly management Accounts
- Regular cashflow forecasting and cashflow management.
- Producing annual audited accounts.
- Preparing VAT and CIS returns.
- Reviewing Trial Balance calculations and posting all accruals and deferred income journals to produce standard cost report.
- Producing COS analysis, Profit and Loss, cashflow forecast and balance sheet statements
We're looking for a Management Accountant with:
- An ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification, or qualified by experience
- Extensive experience in an SME, leading a small accounts function
- Experience working in the construction sector
- First-hand experience of CIS, reverse VAT and CID facilities.
- Knowledge of JCT or similar contracts.
