Tradewind are currently recruiting for a Science Technician to work in a SEN School based in Liverpool. The school is a specialist resource for children aged 11 - 16 who do not have access to mainstream education due to health issues. This is an Ofsted outstanding rated school and you'll be working with a vibrant, Enthusiastic happy staff team dedicated to changing lives.
The role for. The role is to start immediately and is a long-term role.

-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days' work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
Requirements:
- A*-C GCSE including English, Maths and Science
- Technical support experience in a laboratory setting
- Up to date knowledge and practice in health and safety including COSHH
- Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy
- ICT skills to support as a laboratory technician and support classroom activities
- Safe use, storage and disposal of chemicals
