Removals Sales Estimator
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Removals Sales Estimator to join our client, a Removals specialist based in Surrey.
Role Overview:
As the Removals Sales Estimator, you will:
- Undertake estimates at clients' premises or via video.
- Plan daily routines, book removals and part loads, and ensure removals crews are properly briefed on each job.
- Prepare and present detailed proposals to clients, highlighting the value and benefits of the company's services.
- Engage with clients, listen to their needs and concerns, and provide accurate and competitive cost estimates based on the assessment of items to be moved, distance, and other relevant factors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct on site visits to customer premises to assess the scope and complexity of potential removals projects.
- Recommend the appropriate crew and vehicles for each removal.
- Build and develop strong relationships with clients to foster repeat business and referrals.
- Liaise with the sales team to follow up on leads and convert prospects into customers.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of industry trends and competitor offerings to effectively position services.
- Use the company costing data to compile quotations.
- Deal with customer enquiries and follow up quotations.
- Provide customers with advice on insurance matters.
- Ensure all necessary documentation and contracts are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform any other duties as requested by management.
To be a successful Removals Sales Estimator, you will need to have:
Proven experience working in a field sales position, preferably in the Removals or Logistics industry.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.
A self motivated, results driven approach with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
