Reed Talent Professionals are supporting a reputable Housing Association based in Norwich in the search for HR Business Partner to join their friendly team and play a pivotal role in shaping, developing, and delivering HR services that reflect our core values and priorities. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who can provide effective support, guidance, and advice to both managers and employees, and contribute to strategic and operational HR projects.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and leaders, influencing management teams to adopt best practice HR in support of business plans and objectives.
  • Provide strategic and operational HR leadership to drive the delivery of the HR Strategy.
  • Facilitate key HR areas such as change management, organisational design, employee engagement, and performance management.
  • Assist in building talent pipelines and driving resourcing plans within designated business areas.
  • Work with management teams to define and develop organisational talent, addressing performance proactively.
  • Offer up-to-date knowledge of the legal framework within which HR operates, develop policies in line with current legislation, and stay abreast of HR best practices and workplace trends.
  • Strategize case management to effectively manage risk for the group.
  • Advise on complex Employee Relations matters and interpret people data to assist decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Translate business requirements into effective HR practices, delivering solutions aligned with business objectives and values.
  • Act as the HR contact point for a wide range of HR activities, including workforce planning, restructuring, and performance management.
  • Provide comprehensive workshops covering management responsibilities in HR best practices.
  • Coach and mentor the HR team, ensuring a thorough understanding of the housing association sector and its regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A degree or equivalent experience in HR.
  • Relevant and demonstrable HR experience in large, complex organisations with multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of current HR issues and trends, with evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
  • Experience in a business partner model, creating positive business outcomes.
  • Experience managing large scale change programmes such as TUPE or reorganisations.
  • Strong relationship building and influencing skills.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills, with flexibility in approach.
  • Attention to detail and experience using data to inform decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present effectively at all levels.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to contribute to new programmes and initiatives.
  • Commercial insight with the ability to manage and identify risks.
