We are seeking a dedicated Projects and After Sales Support professional to join our client's team. This role involves collaborating with Design Engineers and Manufacturing to create product support documentation, providing first-line product support to existing customers, and managing service engineer site visits. If you have a proactive approach and experience in a customer-facing role within an engineering environment, we would like to hear from you.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Write and collate product support documentation in collaboration with Design Engineers and Manufacturing.
- Provide first-line product support to existing customers using our in-house service portal, including handling warranty claims.
- Create quotes for servicing and parts with support from project management, design engineering, and finance.
- Work with procurement, engineering, and manufacturing teams to create and manage spares lists for new product lines.
- Create, manage, and promote parts catalogues for both existing and new model lines.
- Create basic service manuals for new products, adhering to strict project timelines.
- Manage service engineer site visits, coordinating with customers and the production manager.
- Proactively contact existing customers to establish product performance and any further support requirements.
- Fulfil any other reasonable management requests as needed.
Ideally you will have/be:
- English and Maths GCSE or equivalent.
- Proficiency with MS Word (or alternative authoring software) and Excel; knowledge of illustration software would be an advantage.
- A proactive approach and experience working in a team.
- Experience in a customer-facing role within an engineering or automotive environment is highly desirable.
- Full UK Driving Licence
