This role is perfect for those seeking a position that compliments daytime commitments during the week.

About the Role

As a Customer Service Advisor at Calisen and part of our emergency team, you'll be the hero on the other end of the line answering inbound calls from both customers and suppliers, ensuring swift action in metering emergencies, be it gas or electric. From booking appointments, advising on emergency situations, and following procedures to tackle dangerous metering issues such as a gas leak.

Are you ready to be a vital part of our Emergency Customer Service Team? This is not just a job - it's a crucial role where you'll be working remotely from home, part-time, 17 hours per week, Saturday & Sunday. For your efforts you'll earn a competitive annual salary of £26,520 per annum, pro rata.

What we are looking for

  • Good standard of education (GCSE's or equivalent including English & Maths)
  • Experience working within a fast-paced customer service-based environment with any previous experience working within a contact/call centre environment being desirable.
  • Any prior knowledge of general metering/energy industry processes and procedures would be advantageous.
  • Computer literate with ability to operate Microsoft Office.
  • Strong emotional intelligence with the ability to empathise and support customers in emergencies.
  • Able to remain calm under pressure, maintaining composure and clear communication.
  • Patient and attentive listener, able to provide reassurance and practical solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues efficiently.
