Senior Allocator

JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for maximising sales through stock optimisation, whilst acting as a key point of contact for storesoperational teams.Working closely with the merchandising team to deliver sales stock and profit targets by providing accurate and timelyadministration to support the department and wider business.Utilises historical performance and analysis data to advise and collaborate on allocation decisions.Partners with key stakeholders to ensure stock is in the right place, and at the right time across the store estate.Mentors other allocators, taking an active role in the training of new allocators.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Inventory Control and TradingCreates, maintains, and utilises accurate reporting on inventory KPIs to ensure robust stock management.Identifies and communicates opportunities for improvement, ensuring a high level of accuracy, attention todetail, and completed within deadlines.? TradingResponsible for maintaining your group of stores, identifying, and mitigating risks whilst maximising profitopportunities and acting quickly on critical issues. Keep up to date with market trends and remain aware of howthese trends can impact sales targets.? Promotional ActivityAccurately and collaboratively communicates promotional plans to store operational teams, ensuring details areclear, realistic, and that teams are set up for success.? Collaboration and TeamworkMakes an active, supportive, positive contribution across the buying and merchandising team. Cultivates astrong team ethic. Collaborates with teams across the business. Forging strong professional relationships inaccordance with their departmental goals and the businesses overall strategies / objectives.? CommunicationUses excellent professional communication skills to collaborate with all teams, internally and externally,developing relationships and solutions and at varying levels across the business. Works collaboratively tomaximise productivity and professionalism. First point of contact in Merchandising for stores, central operations,and JC teams. Ensuring all enquires are answered professionally and in a timely fashion.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: ? Highly organised and professional. Attention to detail and accuracy is key? Excellent communication skills. Written and verbal? Makes an active, supportive, and positive contribution across the buying and merchandising team? Actively aims to provide great customer service to area and store teams? Strong computer literacy: Excel is essential with strong numeracy skills? Analytical skills and solution-oriented thinking? Effective at prioritising workload and with a flexible attitude to change in priorities? Able to work on own initiative and to be proactive

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS: ? Work experience in jewellery or pre-owned products.? Minimum 1 Year experience as an allocator.
