Job Title: Warehouse FLT Driver / Picker

gap personnel Gloucester, operating as an employment business are currently recruiting for Warehouse FLT / Picker, for long term to perm opportunities, in Gloucester GL2, for one of the growing and prosperous businesses delivering kitchen furniture and worktops.
As a Warehouse FLT Driver / Picker you will play a key role in the day to day operations in ensuring that the continuous flow of stock is picked, loaded and packed ready for despatch. You will ensure that all picked and loaded goods are checked for any damages and defects. You will be also responsible for loading and unloading lorries and containers.
FLT experience is a MUST, and must have valid licences for Counterbalance.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Picking and packing of multiple items
- Ensuing all items are correctly packed and labelled correctly, and they match relevant paperwork
- Storing and rotating stock according to established procedures
- Defects or damage reported directly to Warehouse Manager or Supervisor
- Stock replenishment and put away
- Loading and unloading lorries and containers
- Picking and packing worktops for daily dispatch
- Following process to ensure all items are accounted for and dispatched on time
- Actively reporting issues to supervisors to be acted on
- Using Manual Handling equipment
- Receipt and storage of inbound inventory
- Warehouse activities as required
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
Working hours:
- Monday - Friday 12pm - 20:30pm

Starting salary is £14.23, with potential to earn more when doing OT.
