Area Manager - Collections Central

Salary - £74,322 - £92,903 per annum (plus benefits)
Hours - 37.5 hours per week, 8.30am to 5.00pm
Location Postcode - Home based but initially responsible for contracts in Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Central Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.

As an Area Manager, you will develop, manage and control the region's operations to achieve agreed revenue and profit targets.

This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week; however, we will consider requests for job shares to suit your lifestyle (working full days).

What will you be doing?

- Overseeing and monitoring all operational working practices to ensure conformance with legislation and company standards
- Monitoring operations to ensure the achievement of budgeted revenue, operating profit and cash targets
- Controlling the operation of any PFI projects within the region
- Developing opportunities to optimise the sites and contracts to greatest commercial benefit
- Implementing management cost plans for all facilities in the region, focusing on continual improvement within the overall regional and national strategy
- Assisting the technical team in the development and implementation of new techniques for waste management
- Providing leadership and direction to Contract and Site Managers through mentoring and coaching
