Senior Claims Examiner - Enrolment on Adjuster training program
We are currently looking for a Senior Claims Examiner or In-House Loss Adjuster to join a Global Insurance & Risk company. This is an amazing opportunity for someone with an appetite for progression into a Loss Adjuster role. Progression here is not just encouraged, it is actively supported with full training programmes and study support. Following the initial training period, this role can be either based in the City or in Maidenhead, or a mix of both if that suits!
This role involves investigating, negotiating, and settling Property and Business Interruption claims, both UK and Overseas upto £500,000 along with supporting the Loss Adjuster on more complex cases. A keen interest in travelling and being readily available to visit loss sites as they happen to support Loss Adjusters is key.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing lasting relationships with policyholders, demonstrating interpersonal skills and negotiation acumen. You will need to be able to go the extra mile for the customer in supporting their journey through the claim but also be able to have those difficult conversation in a tactful and professional manner, when necessary.
About you:
- Degree qualified
- Currently hold, or Progression to gaining ACII (supported)
- Experience of high volume claims with a keen interest in progressing into Commercial
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail imperative in order to keep case files up to date and orderly
- Ability to work independently to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
