I am representing a fantastic organisation in West London who looking for a experienced Learning & Development Manager to join the team and be integral in creating and driving the implementation of best practice learning and development policies, processes, frameworks, and toolkits for our head office and location roles across all markets.

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in developing highly competent managers and team members to achieve both business and personal development goals.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Design and implement standardised training frameworks for all staff and Head Office Teams, ensuring consistency with company standards and behaviours.
  • Develop a range of learning and development solutions aligned with the HR strategy and business priorities.
  • Ensure all learning and development activities are legally compliant and support company policies and procedures.
  • Create and manage the annual training calendar based on needs identified from performance reviews.
  • Evaluate the impact of learning activities and make necessary adjustments to align with business goals.
  • Enhance the capability of Managers to effectively utilise all training frameworks and modules.
  • Collaborate with HR Leads, Operations teams, and Line Managers to define learning and development needs.
  • Coach Head Office managers to improve their team's training, development, and performance management.
  • Embed the company culture and values through all learning initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in senior L&D roles across multiple European markets, ideally including the UK and Germany.
  • Deep understanding of multi-site customer-facing businesses ideally withing a retail, hospitality, or leisure company
  • Hands-on experience with the full training cycle and delivering operational excellence in a matrix organisational structure.
  • Proven success in creating and rolling out training frameworks and toolkits across different countries.
  • Strong commercial acumen with leadership skills to perform across different countries.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and project management skills.
