Purchase Ledger Clerk

Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a local manufacturing brand to offer an exciting Purchase Ledger Clerk role on a 30 hour per week basis (Monday to Thursday) paying £26,000 FTE.

Key responsibilities for the role include;

  • Compiling VAT returns ready for review
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Posting of cash payments from bank
  • Answering any purchase ledger queries with suppliers
  • Set up of new suppliers in SAP
  • Posting credit card statements to correct general ledger codes
  • Conducting annual archiving of documents
  • Administering of Goods Received not Invoiced accounts

This role would suit a strong excel user with Purchase Ledger experience and good communication skills. Experience using SAP and an understanding of VAT would be beneficial but is not essential.
