Based in Halesowen.

£11.50 per hour.

Monday to Friday

8am - 5pm

Temporary to Permanent.

Are you a motivated and customer-focused individual looking for an exciting opportunity in the Engineering industry? Our client, a highly regarded company based in Halesowen, is seeking a Customer Service Call Handler to join their dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will be a flexible, self-motivated, and adaptable individual with some practical knowledge and experience using Excel.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Answering incoming calls and emails and responding to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assisting customers with product information, troubleshooting, and resolving any issues they may have.
  • Booking and following up on new calls outs (Including installations, breakdowns, and maintenances).
  • Collaborating with other departments to escalate and resolve customer concerns.
  • Providing feedback and suggestions to improve overall customer experience.
  • Raising quotes for parts / equipment repairs and submitting to customers for approval.
  • Liaising with our Spares team to obtain delivery updates for spare parts.
  • Reviewing completed site visits to ensure accuracy for invoicing.
  • Reviewing and responding to customer invoice queries.
  • Liaising with engineers, supervisors, and management to ensure completion of customer call out requests (including installations, breakdowns, and maintenances) in line with their contracts.

To thrive in this position, candidates should possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Previous experience in a customer service role is highly desirable, although training will be provided. A friendly and empathetic attitude, along with the ability to remain calm under pressure, are essential for success.
