Job Title: Electrical Fitter

Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Electrical Fitter to join our team in Croydon, working on the construction of train vehicles. This role primarily involves cross cabling, fitting new cables, running them throughout the vehicle, and terminating as required. The position is physically demanding and requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
Fit and install new cables inside train vehicles.
Run cables throughout the vehicle, ensuring proper routing and securing.
Perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality.
Adhere strictly to safety protocols and procedures.
Support other fitters with day-to-day tasks as needed.
Project Details:
This project is expected to run until mid-March 2025. The initial contract is for a 6-month term, with the potential for extension based on project developments.
Requirements:
Experience in rolling stock in an electrical capacity is preferred.
Ability to perform physically challenging tasks for extended periods.
NVQ Level 3 in an electrical discipline or similar qualification.
