My client, one of the largest independent IT service & support companies in the UK, are looking to recruit a mid-range Project Manager.
Responsibilities
To provide a high-level end-to-end proactive project management for the business, clients, and stakeholders alike.
Prime Function
- to provide a comprehensive IT delivery and project management service directly to client base and or stakeholders.
- Be able to engage a wide and or diverse stakeholders and negotiate and influence effectively to develop strong collaborative working relations to resolve issues.
- oversee all project artefacts, and associated documents with gate reviews, Operational Acceptance and set deadlines within budget and scope of the project
- be responsible for chasing monitoring and summarising progress of each project
- Highlight/log and monitor potential RAIDs, seeking to proactively resolve RAIDs as required.
- Take lead and manage ad hoc back-office Admin to the project team and or client/users.
- manage the delivery of demand of all size projects through the Service Delivery / Project Management governance Framework
Skill Set / Requirements.
- Proven track record in successfully delivering projects.
- Demonstrable experience (4+ years) in a PM role
- Agile/waterfall and or Prince 2 Foundation Practitioner
- Excellent attention to detail and methodical ideally within a technical background which will allow you to understand the different range of IT projects in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Strong MS package skills for: Project, PowerPoint, Excel, PPT, Visio and Word.
