**Key Responsibilities**

In your role as Building Surveyor, your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Technical and proactive management of various tasks, including project managed repairs, defect diagnosis reports, and associated consultancy tasks.
  • Extensive travel, primarily within local regions, to undertake surge/specialist work where required.
  • Producing high-quality surveyor reports within tight service-level agreements.
  • Strong engagement with local adjuster communities aiming to grow new relationships and support the company's growth objectives.
  • Energising collaborations with the Building Consultancy business to aid in achieving company objectives.

**About You**

The ideal candidate for the Building Surveyor role will have:

  • Broad or specialist building surveying experience, with a focus on areas like dilapidations, schedules of condition, commercial practices, RCA, and insurance valuations.
  • Great knowledge of the latest CDM regulations and health and safety legislation.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills; adept at liaising with key stakeholders while managing a large mixed-portfolio of work, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Proactive, commercially-minded with meticulous attention to detail, able to work independently and provide resolutions swiftly.
  • Professional Qualifications: MRICS Chartered Building Surveyors preferred but not essential. MCIOB Chartered Construction Managers, defective related engineers, and project managers are also welcome.
