Our Client, a leading brand in the Luxury Travel Industry, is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to oversee all financial accounting and reporting activities.
Responsibilities
- Manage full accounting cycle including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, credit control, and month-end close
- Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting packages with insightful analysis and commentary
- Manage cash flow forecasting and monitor working capital requirements
- Liaise with external chartered accountants on statutory accounting, tax, and audits
- Oversee accounting for ATOL, ABTA, IATA bonding and travel regulation compliance
- Manage insurance policies and renewals for the business
- Review and improve financial policies, controls, and office processes
- Supervise part-time bookkeeper and work closely with senior management team
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong technical abilities
- Minimum 5 years' experience, preferably within the travel industry
- Advanced Excel skills and a high degree of numerical competence
- Excellent communication skills to explain financial information clearly
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple workstreams
- Self-motivated with meticulous attention to detail
- Travel industry experience with bonding, regulatory, and insurance matters
