We are seeking a Quality Manager (Apprenticeships) to work closely with the Director of Quality Improvement to enhance the quality management, improvement, and innovation of our Apprenticeships provision. The successful candidate will ensure that both apprentices and employers benefit from a high standard of service and a high-quality learning experience. This role involves regular travel across campuses and requires a proactive approach to maintaining and elevating our educational standards.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Quality Improvement to maintain high standards of quality and performance in apprenticeship provision.
  • Support and challenge teams using the Aspire Model for Quality Performance Monitoring, including oversight of meetings and setting SMART targets.
  • Ensure effective quality assurance processes in line with the Quality Standard for Apprenticeship provision.
  • Ensure full compliance with college systems such as Smart Assessor and conduct regular review and monitoring audits.
  • Devise and embed structures for Personal Development, Behaviour, and Welfare.
  • Support the implementation of College Quality policies and produce reports and supporting evidence as required.
  • Coordinate quality improvement activities across campuses and support teams in the production of quality reports.
  • Contribute to the College Self-Assessment Report (SAR) and Improvement Plan.
  • Provide support during Ofsted inspections and other external quality assessments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree or other Level 5 qualification.
  • Teaching qualification.
  • English and Maths GCSE (Grade C or above).
  • Record of excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment.
  • Proficient in IT and able to interrogate cross-college MIS systems.
  • Experience implementing innovative quality processes with positive change and impact.
  • Good understanding of apprenticeships and Ofsted EIF.
  • Ability to mentor and support staff to improve practice with a proven track record of positive impact.
